How is pansexuality different from polysexuality?

While polysexuality and pansexuality are the not the same, pansexuality is often considered a “subset” of polysexuality, which is the attraction to more than one gender.

Many define polysexuality as the attraction to multiple but not all genders, but this definition isn’t used across the board. Like bisexuality, the difference most often cited between polysexuality and pansexuality is that pansexuals do not consider gender as a factor in their attraction to someone at all.
